Life at an early age was spent between the bottle and local crime as he thrashed through his teenage years, leaving him with few options for occupation as his reputation had plummeted by the time he was eighteen. With nowhere left to turn, the youngling took on the only work he could find; dishwashing at a local Izakaya. It wasn't glamorous, but it was honest work. His commitment eventually caught the attention of a chef that decided to take him under his wing, and the rest was history for the young man. Finding purpose in simplicity was what the Kurou needed to settle the debts he had with himself from his younger years.Many years had passed for the Raen who now fancied himself a private chef. The perks of travel were wondrous, and the talent Ryuuji displayed from his technique as a chef was sought after by many with the gil who could afford his services. However, tragedy reared its ugly head after some time and the Kurou found himself back at his roots, turning to his family once more in an ongoing story of the search for his lost sister, Chibuya. Ryuuji often wanders with a crumpled picture of her in his pocket, he may ask you if you've seen her before.
